  • ICON - A non-profit organization driven to solve global challenges through student-led international business consulting opportunities.
  • Fundación Runa - Provides tools and resources to indigenous communities and farmers’ associations working towards their vision of sustainable development in the Ecuadorian Amazon through internship programs focusing on community development and environmental management.

  • French American Chamber of Commerce - Internships available in both public sector (local government, museums, research laboratories) and private sector (primarily American companies operating in France).
  • The Pasteur Foundation in Paris, France - Provides U.S. undergraduates with the rare opportunity to conduct summer research at theInstitut Pasteur in Paris, France. The foundation’s goal is to encourage students in the pursuit of a scientific career and to expose them to an international laboratory experience.


  • Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty - Independent news and broadcasting corporation. Hires more than 10 research and electrical engineering interns for 8-12 week periods. Interns are paid $48 a day. Research interns travel to Munich and should be fluent in a language of Eastern Europe or the Commonwealth of Independent States.
  • The USA-Interns Program - The German-American Internship Exchange founded by the Steuben-Schurz-Gesellschaft and supported by the US Consulate Frankfurt.

  • Dublin Internships - Dublin Internships provides full-time, professional level internships across the spectrum of majors, minors and career options in modern, progressive Dublin, Ireland.


United Kingdom

  • Hansard Scholars Programme - Opportunity for students to become involved in the workings of the British government and politics. Internships are unpaid, though relevant travel and lunch expenses may be provided, lasting 12-16 weeks over the summer.
  • INSTEP: Institute of Economic and Political Studies - INSTEP offers semester and academic year programs for juniors and seniors interested in politics, law, economics, political economy, contemporary Europe , the social sciences and the humanities in either London or Cambridge


  • Connect 123 Internships in South Africa - Variety of internships based in South Africa and Argentina. Provide a wide variety of subjects including but not limited to, design, marketing, business, film, photography, journalism, social work, medicine and tourism.
  • ThinkImpact - Gain on-the-ground global development experience and leadership training while developing sustainable business models in Kenya and South Africa. 10 weeks.
  • Visions in Action - Internships in urban areas of Kenya, South Africa, Uganda, and Zimbabwe, focusing on urban development and includes such issues as refugee relief, famine relief, women, agriculture, family planning, appropriate technology, and youth work.


  • CRCC ASIA – Fee Based internship program in Asia.
  • Global Apprenticeship - Empower young individuals in developing their career and/or educational goals with a global mind-set and hands-on experience. Proficiency in the local language is not required to participate in any of our programs. College credit or scholarships are not available.
  • GlobaLinks Learning Abroad - Provides students with an abundance of program options world-wide. Students may wish to study and life abroad on a semester or year program, complete an internship, attend a short term program during a semester break, complete a research project on an overseas campus, and plenty of other opportunities.
  • IES Global - IESG has been specializing in creating tailored educational programs to bridge the gap between the East and West. Internship areas include NGO's, marketing, international business, green technology, engineering, events management, finance, law and more.
  • Internship Network Asia  - Comprehensive program that provides participants with working experience in their chosen field including a sense of cultural understanding, orientation and comfort in Shanghai, China. Basic, Comprehensive or Deluxe packages available.


  • Abroad China - Provides individuals unique opportunities to better understand China. The fee-based Summer Program is a 9 week internship program geared for university students or recent graduates that includes housing, networking events, weekend trip and many other features.
  • Academic Internship Council – Internship placements in Mumbai and Singapore.

  • Teaching Nomad - Positions in this category are usually private English language training centers preschools or Universities. Positions are available in modern cities as well as more authentic settings.
  • Ningbo Wencheng International Student Internship Inc. - Provides the opportunity for young professionals to do internships in Ningbo China. Also educates students on the policy, culture, economy and life in China as well as offers Mandarin Chinese classes to students in China.


  • Teach for India - Nationwide movement of outstanding college graduates and young professionals who teach full time in low income schools for two years. Fellowship enables students to become lifelong leaders advocating for educational equity.


  • University of Haifa Internships - Offers internship experiences in a variety of fields, among them education, social work, immigrant absorption, the physical sciences, women’s studies, Jewish-Arab relations, and international finance. Open to qualified full-time students who have successfully completed at least two full years of academic study.


  • NanoJapan International Research Experience for Undergraduates - Focuses on cultivating interest in nanotechnology among young U.S. undergraduate students, especially those from underrepresented groups, and encouraging such students to pursue graduate study and academic research in the physical sciences.
  • JET - Japan Exchange & Teaching Program - a teaching English in Japan program that is supported by the Japanese Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs.  Competitive salary, airfare and in-country support is provided.  


  • Chase Academy - A private education institution in Korea placing University graduates in esteemed teaching positions.


  • Internship Nepal - Not-for-Profit Organization established to connect students from all over the world with companies and NGO's in Nepal. They facilitate local internships with media, education, health, medical, culture, community development, environment, social-sector and human rights organizations.


  • ​Teach Thailand Corps - Focuses on strengthening the primary and secondary school education systems in Thailand, particularly high-need areas, by placing undergraduates in underserved Thai schools as English language teachers.

  • Australearn - Largest provider of students from North America to Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific. Staff in the U.S., Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Fiji, AustraLearn offers unparalleled support in your home country as well as abroad. Semester, year-long and short term study abroad opportunities as well as internships.

  • Academic Internship Council - Independent, non-profit organization focused on expanding internship programs in North America and beyond, including new teams in Toronto and Singapore.
  • AIESEC - Operating in more than 90 plus, AIESEC is a student-run international organization, offering business-related internships that open to all majors.
  • American Institute for Foreign Study, College Division - Arranges the international exchange of college students. Field of operations encompasses 10 campuses in Mexico, Europe, Asia, and Australia, and offers about 40 internships each year for a duration of 12 to 15 weeks each. Unpaid, voluntary internships for college juniors, seniors, and graduate students. Requires a $50 applicant processing fee.
  • American University’s World Capitals Program - AU offers semester study programs with internships in Argentina, Austria, Belgium, Chile, China, Czech Republic, France, Hungary, Italy, Russia, Spain, and the UK. Study areas include business, communications, economics, history, journalism, political science, and the social sciences.
  • Ameson Education and Culture Exchange Foundation - Non-profit, non-governmental organization committed to the promotion and implementation of education exchanges in China and abroad. Maintains offices in Shanghai, Beijing, Nanjing, Suzhou, Washington DC plus numerous operations centers worldwide. 
  • Arcadia University Center for Education Abroad - Academic internship programs available in Australia, England, Ireland, and Scotland, ranging in duration from a summer to a semester. Includes credit-bearing courses that will help you in the workplace to which you are assigned.
  • ASHOKA: Innovators for the Public - Nonprofit organization awarding fellowships for innovation ideas related to social change in Africa, Asia, and Latin America. Offers 15 unpaid internships each year related to publications, press relations, publicity, fundraising, and fellowship relations. Duration of internships varies.
  • CDS - In Germany, CDS has several different programs in business and technical fields for undergraduates, graduates, and professionals; applicants must know some German. CDS also offers placement programs in Spain and Argentina.
  • CIEE: Council on International Educational Exchange - Council offers summer, semester, academic year and full year study programs with internships and research opportunities in Brazil, China, Dominican Republic, France, Germany, Hungary, Indonesia, the Netherlands, Poland, Spain and the UK. Programs include studies in culture, history, business, politics and other subjects, along with the languages of the host countries.
  • Connect-123 - Develops and administers internship programs in Barcelona, Buenos Aires, Cape Town, Dublin and Shanghai. Hosted by local companies, nonprofit organizations, schools, research institutes and health care clinics.
  • CMMB: Catholic Medical Mission Board - International, faith based NGO providing long-term, co-operative medical and developmental aid to communities affected by poverty and healthcare issues.
  • Cross Cultural Solutions - A recognized leader in the field of international volunteering.
  • Cultural Embrace - Offers customized international travel itineraries for individuals or groups to volunteer, intern, teach, work, take cultural classes, and travel. Program fees ranging from $100-$4,000 include housing, meals, and sometimes transportation for these global full-time, intern, and volunteer opportunities.

  • ELI Abroad - Looks for, and partners with, small humanitarian and environmental organizations without the means to recruit volunteers. ELI screens volunteers, helps with placements, provides travel planning assistance and is responsible for customer service western volunteers expect and rely on. Internships in 24 countries, with the widest selection in Ireland, China, South Africa, Brazil, and France. All internships are unpaid except in China, where interns often receive a modest stipend that covers their accommodations. 
  • Friends World Program - Offers semester and academic year internships in China, Costa Rica, India, Australia, Japan, South Africa, South Korea, and the UK . Positions are available in areas such as historical architecture, archaeology, art, economics, and music. There is a high degree of independence and flexibility with these programs.
  • Global Brigades - World’s largest student-led global health and sustainable development organization. Since 2004, programs have mobilized thousands of university students and professionals through nine skill-based service programs to improve quality of life in under resourced communities.
  • Global Campus – Study Abroad - Programs in Costa Rica, Ecuador, England, France, India, Kenya, Mexico, Senegal, and Venezuela. Internships are available for credit at many sites.

  • IAESTE: International Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical Experience - Offers paid internships in over 30 countries in technical fields such as engineering, computer science, mathematics, natural/physical sciences, architecture, and agricultural science. Most placements last for 8-12 weeks over the summer, though fall and long-term programs are also available.
  • International Bridge to Justice - Nonprofit, nongovernmental organization dedicated to ensuring the basic legal rights of ordinary citizens in developing and transition countries. Internships include Criminal Justice eLearning Initiative, Social Media/Web Communications, Program Management, JusticeMakers Program Management, Development, and Documentary Journalism.
  • International Cooperative Education - As a program participant, students will gain invaluable international, paid work, culture, and language experience. Each working experience is unique and tailored to the student’s interests, language ability and goals.
  • International Education Program - Internship and summer jobs program involves work experience and linguistic/cultural immersion in Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, France, Finland, Austria, Italy, Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan, Brazil, Chile, and Argentina. Employment available in several fields. All positions are paid and provide sufficient income to cover living expenses while abroad.
  • International Internships - Leading provider of Internship Placements around the world for college students and recent graduates. Program staff arrange for student’s housing, provide an on-site orientation and on-site support for each program.
  • IVP: International Volunteer Program - Provides students the opportunity to intern in France or the UK.   • People to People International - Nonprofit educational and cultural exchange organization, which administers programs for college groups in over 20 countries. Offers unpaid internships for 2-month periods and traveling seminars.
  • Putney Student Travel - Seeking qualified college students to lead groups of high school students on overseas Language Learning, Cultural Exploration, Community Service, and Global Awareness in Action programs.
  • Syracuse University - Offers a variety of internships and field placements at their study centers in France, Italy, Spain, the UK and Zimbabwe as well as in Hong Kong, Singapore, and Switzerland. Internships are available in areas such as communications, drama, business, law, international relations, management, political science and social services.
  • World Federalists - Promotes the work of the United Nations in the areas of environmentalism, human rights, and conflict resolution. Interns get experience in conducting policy research, coordinating conferences, writing, editing, public relations, and lobbying. Open to college students, graduates, and graduate students.

  • United Nations Association of the USA - Strengthens the United Nations system and promotes U.S. participation in the organization. Offers several unpaid internships of variable duration, most of which involve research, proofreading, writing, and general office responsibilities.
  • United Nations Headquarters Internships - Provides opportunities for students enrolled in a graduate programme to undertake an internship at its Headquarters in New York, Geneva, Vienna, Nairobi, Addis Ababa, Bangkok, Beirut and Santiago. This Internship Programme is for the United Nations Secretariat in New York only.

  • United States and Foreign Commercial Service - Summer work-study intern program for 10 to 12 week periods, open to college juniors, seniors, and graduate students. Also offers several unpaid internships involving research, writing, and marketing/promotion. Interns work abroad and are responsible for financing all of their travel, living, and other expenses.
