Connect with Center for Career Development

Career Counselors at The Center for Career Development appreciate the unique relationship you have with your students. We would be pleased to support your programs and involve you in ours.

How we can help you

Speak at department-wide programs
We would be glad to present information about The Center for Career Development or answer any questions about what we do and how we work with students.

Speak in classes and work with you on special programs or workshops
We are often invited to come to classes and seminars to speak with students about crucial career issues related to their studies, and/or to offer special seminars on career options for specific disciplines/majors. Please let us know if you'd like us to prepare a panel or program for your students.

What you can do

Encourage your students to use The Center for Career Development
Many students look to their faculty for direction and guidance on "what to do next." Please encourage your students to visit our website and use our services. Career Development Counselors have a great deal of experience with a wide range of career issues and choices, and we are eager to help students at all stages of their careers.

Identify alumni who want to participate in career programs or panels
We make extensive use of alumni/ae as panelists or solo speakers. If you know of graduates from your program who you think would be good speakers, we'd be glad to include them in upcoming panels.

Go IRISH is The Career Center's primary recruiting database.  It includes both on-campus and off-campus interviewing opportunities for jobs and internships. Go IRISH can also be used to view upcoming employer information sessions, pre-nights, and career fair participants.  It also serves as a job search engine for internship and full-time opportunities specifically seeking ND talent.  As Notre Dame faculty or staff, you have the ability to create a login for Go IRISH and see the same information a student sees.
